Abstract

What if one compound could extend your lifespan, reverse cellular aging, suppress

cancer, and restore your body’s natural circadian rhythms? It may sound like science

fiction, but such a compound exists and it was discovered back in the 1980s by

Professor Khavinson. This substance is called Epitalon. Despite its extraordinary

potential, Epitalon remains one of longevity science’s best-kept secrets, with benefits

that few people know about even today.

NOTE: For the past three years, we've rigorously tested and vetted every manufacturer, laboratory, and peptide vendor we could find. After an exhaustive search, we finally found a lab that meets our stringent standards for purity, cost-effectiveness, safety, and efficacy.

We’re proud to announce our official partnership with Chemiax - our absolute top recommendation for purchasing Epitalon and other peptides.

Introduction

Epitalon is derived from the pineal gland’s natural peptide extract known as Epithalamin¹ (or Endoluten which is the oral equivalent). It has no relation to pinealon, despite its name, so if you hear other influencers say that pinealon is the pineal gland extract, I recommend you run far away, because it demonstrates that they have not done their research. Epithalamin, the natural pineal gland extract, predominantly contains tripeptides and tetrapeptides¹.

Among the tetrapeptides, Epitalon (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) stood out for having powerful benefits.

Epitalon restores melatonin production, a hormone whose decline is closely linked to increased morbidity and chronic diseases.

Beyond regulating circadian rhythms, Epitalon activates telomerase, an enzyme that lengthens telomeres, enabling more cellular divisions and supporting tissue regeneration. It also reverses chromosomal abnormalities, enhances immune function, reduces oxidative stress, and exhibits powerful anti-cancer properties.

Epitalon has even been shown to reduce the expression of senescence markers p16 and p21 in mesenchymal stem cells, achieving reductions of 1.56-2.44 times, which means it wasnt quite as effective as vesugen here.

Epitalon improved brainwave EEG activity in one patient. You can see in this image, the middle section is before epitalon and the right section is with epitalon.

The top two rows represent frontal regions, while the lower rows correspond to subcortical regions.

The peaks should be uniform and aligned. You can see that with Epitalon, there is reduced background noise.

Because the benefits of Epitalon and Epithalamin often overlap and some of the largest human studies were conducted with Epithalamin, I will explore both in separate sections to provide a comprehensive perspective.

The Role of Epithalamin in Sleep, Longevity, and Hormones
First, I will discuss the benefits of Epithalamin, as they share many of those seen with Epitalon. Following this, I will cover the benefits specifically demonstrated by Epitalon.

Epithalamin has:

• Restored pineal gland function and normalized melatonin production ².

• Act as a potent antioxidant and geroprotector³

• Stimulates subcortical regions in brain explants, whereas Cortexin stimulates the cortex, but even slightly inhibits subcortical regions. This demonstrates a tissue specific effect of brain regulation³⁹.

• Improve immune function and testosterone in old mice

• Improve lifespan in 3 species of animals

One of the largest human studies conducted with Epithalamin took place in the elderly who were living in personal care homes ⁶. They were dosed with 10mg Epithalamin injections each day for 10 days at the start of each year for a period of up to 3 years. The observation period lasted 8 years. The results were as follows:

• A 2-2.4x reduction in acute respiratory diseases⁶.

• 1.6-1.8x decrease in all cause mortality (with a 2.5 fold decrease when combined with thymalin)⁶.

• A 4.1 fold decrease in a smaller group that was receiving both courses each year but for 6 years instead of 3, indicating that more=better⁶.
Improved Homeostasis: Measured by the Homeostasis State Coefficient, reflecting enhanced physiological functions akin to those of younger individuals⁶.

• Reduced the development of tumors in rodents

• Improved the immune function in humans receiving chemotherapy treatment(Endoluten)

Benefits Witnessed with Epitalon

•Epitalon stimulates the TERT gene to increase telomerase activity, lengthening telomeres in human somatic cellsallowing for more cellular divisions to take place. This also activates thymosin beta 10, which selectively kills cancer cells¹⁰.

• Promotes melatonin production at a much lower dose than Epithalamin. 0.1mg vs 50mg¹¹.

•Is Geroprotective to the thymus¹².Induces deheterochromatization, reactivating silenced genes ¹³.

•Enhances GDF11 activity¹⁴, a protein linked to reversal of cardiac hypertrophy.

•Upregulates tumor-suppressing genes STK11 and interferon gamma¹⁵, thereby improving immune function.
•Reduces HER-2/neu expression, (otherwise known as epidermal growth factor 2) leading to tumor suppression¹⁶.
•Reduced breast cancer risk in mice ¹⁷.

•Decreased rates of spontaneous, induced, and transplanted tumors in animal models¹⁸.

• Reduced colon cancer development in an animal study¹⁹.
•Increases SOD (superoxide dismutase) ceruloplasmin and glutathione antioxidants more effectively than melatonin²⁰.
•Protected hippocampal neurons better than exogenous melatonin in hypoxia²¹.

•Improved thyroid hormones T3 and T4 production (in birds with impaired thyroid) ²²,²³.
•Restores chromosomal abnormalities in bone marrow cells in hypokinesia (low movement) potentially making it useful in conditions like chronic fatigue, anemia, or leukemia²⁴.

•Increase neuronal differentiation through transcription factors, nestin, GAP43²⁵, although it didn't do so as well as Pinealon or Vesugen and it also could not prevent death to neurons like Pinealon, Vilon, or Vesugen⁴².

•Promotes regeneration of the retina²⁶, including in retinitis pigmentosa²⁷.
•Reduce lipid peroxidation²⁸.
•Delays senescence in cultured mouse oocytes²⁹ and the culture feasibility post thaw in bovine oocytes³⁰.

•Improves cisplatin induced kidney injury in a rodent model but not as well as Ovagen or cartalax⁴⁰.
•Improved immune status in old people including CD4 T lymphocytes³⁸ .

•Improved osmotic hemolysis in culture, enhancing red blood cell membrane stability, and reducing lipoprotein oxidation, however did not decrease the percent of dead cells in the neuronal population compared to Vesugen, Pinealon, and Vilon⁴².

Dosing:
You can dose Epitalon as low as 100mcg to get some benefits of enhanced melatonin production¹¹. If using it intranasally you shouldnt exceed 600 mcg as our human testers have reported some forms of temporary agitation from doses sometimes at but mostly above this threshold, which may be due to the activation of the neocortex³¹.

Dose ranges in the patent from 0.01 up to 0.1mg/kg body weight in humans for injection⁴³. However, You can also inject it higher as there is no risk to toxicity, as indicated by its testing at up to 5,000x equivalent human dose acutely or 1,000x chronically³⁸.

However, if you are going to inject it in the long term, you may still want to be cognizant of the fact that it can potentially induce a temporary agitation at higher dosages. If you would like to receive the maximum anti-neoplastic effects, then I would suggest you use a much higher dosage and for a prolonged period of time. You should also consider using it in combination with other anticancer peptides such as protocol 12 “Cancer Recovery Support” in Peptide Mastery.

Conclusion:
In today’s world, where technology and stress constantly disrupt our natural rhythms, pineal gland peptides like Epitalon offer a way to restore balance and promote longevity. Whether your goal is to boost your immune system, improve sleep, inhibit cancer progression, or simply live a healthier, longer life, these peptides deserve serious consideration.

Chronic stress and excessive exposure to blue light can reduce cfos in our pineal gland, desensitizing it, and reducing its ability to secrete melatonin and regulate circadian rhythms³². This impaired sleep quality can potentially lower dopamine D2 receptor activity³³, and testosterone levels³⁴, which could contribute to depressive disorders³⁵.

While it hasn’t been conclusively proven that pineal gland peptides directly increase dopamine or testosterone in humans, studies show they help regulate dopamine according to circadian rhythms in rodents³⁶. Additionally, research on rodent models and menopausal women has demonstrated their ability to enhance testosterone or estradiol levels respectively³⁷,⁴ suggesting they may have potential to support hormonal health as we age.

If you are interested in using Epitalon, my official recommendation to get the highest quality and safest Epitalon at the best price is Chemiax - our official peptide manufacturing partner.
